I took that idea and turned it into the workings behind the lock.

Don't really want to say more about that puzzle because I wouldn't want to give too many clues away.
Brian Young - Mr Puzzlehttp://www.mrpuzzle.com.aunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1325321154517773060.post-56642026782434772782012-12-15T10:22:07.905+00:002012-12-15T10:22:07.905+00:00I fluked mine the first time! He's a mean man that Brian Young!

In the end, not knowing anyone who'd solved it, I looked at the solution - but only the stage 1 diagram! This turned things from clear as mud to as clear as dirty water! But at least it gave me some clues to play with. After another week of thinking about it and intermittently going back to the puzzle, I finally had a brainwave - absolute genius idea!

As George says, not for beginners! I have to say that the mechanism doesn't work every time for me but with perseverance I can open it at will. Definitely a great puzzle for the collection.

Kevin
PuzzlemadKevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05649523779226834414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1325321154517773060.post-21350263470358957902012-12-14T20:31:26.660+00:002012-12-14T20:31:26.660+00:00This is not a puzzle for neophytes!
