Easter puzzling

Right folks - I went down to deepest darkest Devon again this Saturday to attend another of James Dalgety's legendary puzzle parties, and while I haven't had a chance to write up my experiences yet, I can share this with you ...

It's customary at these events to take something along for the others to puzzle over, and this was my contribution - not sure if anyone's actually solved the final puzzle yet, so if you want to have a bash and submit an answer you can earn the admiration of both of the other folks who read this blog! :-)

  1. I have the grid filled in, but I still can't work out what the letters within the highlighted cells spell out!

  2. I give up - done all except the 11 & 15 D (2 Z's)

    Great puzzle Allard!

  3. I think there's an error in the clues. The Nest Nest Lock has 20D as the designer, but I'm pretty sure that's not correct ... not to mention the 2 bats also points to 20 D, which does fit, and is not the same designer as the previous picture ... unless I'm wrong!
